Just follow these quick and easy steps to deploy your VPN server in the Amazon AWS cloud.
Create an AWS EC2 instance and choose UTunnel VPN Amazon Machine Image (AMI) from AWS Marketplace. Launch the instance.
Sign up for an account with us and log in to your UTunnel web application dashboard. Click on the Create Server button to create a new server.
Select the server type as On-Premise and provide a server name of your choice. Next, enter the AWS instance IP address and choose the number of users as per your requirement.
Proceed to complete the payment and you will receive a server registration token to initiate the server.
Now, you need to connect to your AWS instance via SSH and execute the commands given below. Just replace the YOUR_REG_TOKEN with the token you received from the UTunnel console.
sudo /utunnel/bin/utnservice register
sudo /utunnel/bin/utnservice start
Allow inbound connections to the following ports on your AWS Instance: UDP - 443, 500, 4500; TCP - 443.
Your VPN server will be ready to use now. Now you can start inviting users and whitelist the AWS VPN IP to set up controlled access to your business network resources.
