It is very easy to create an Exoscale VPN server with the UTunnel VPN. Our fully automated deployment process enables hassle-free server deployment in minutes. Once the server is deployed, you can monitor all the server activities and manage all the server configurations through UTunnel’s easy-to-use web dashboard. It is of utmost importance to ensure the security of business data with adequate encryption while being transferred over the internet. When you deploy your UTunnel VPN server in Exoscale, the data is protected with highly secure 256-bit encryption with OpenVPN and IKEv2 protocols.
As more businesses are moving their resources to the cloud, they often require secure access to private resources like ERP, CRM, HRMS systems, and other business applications hosted in the cloud. Even though these systems and servers are protected with password encryption, they are still easily accessible over the public internet and that fact poses a severe risk. By setting up your Virtual Private Network in Exoscale, you can ensure the security of these internal applications by whitelisting the VPN IP addresses and restricting access to them only via the VPN, thereby adding an extra layer of protection to your resources. Another easy option is to add your business resources as OneClick Applications on your UTunnel server in Exoscale. This allows secure access to these applications directly from your web browser, without having to connect to your VPN using VPN client applications.
By signing up for an organization account while creating your UTunnel account, you can create and manage teams or user groups in your Exoscale VPN server. The organization accounts come with the features to manage user groups and selectively grant access and privileges to the VPN servers to specific groups. You can even simplify the sign-in and user management by setting up single sign-on integration with the provider of your choice.
You can effortlessly set up a site-to-site VPN tunnel between your Exoscale VPC (Virtual Private Cloud) and any remote endpoint that supports IPSEC IKEV2 protocol. All site-to-site tunnel configurations can be easily managed from the UTunnel web dashboard. You may need to add some custom routes on your Exoscale VPC servers to send traffic to the remote encryption domain (the range of IP addresses of the hosts which will be participating in the encrypted VPN), through the UTunnel server. But you do not have to worry as our support engineers are always ready to assist you with setting up the site-to-site tunnel.
