How to Enable 2-Factor Authentication with Email OTP

UTunnel provides its users an option to enable two-factor authentication(2FA) to ensure safe and secure log-ins to their UTunnel account. Users can choose between TOTP(using authenticator apps) or email based 2FA when enabling the feature, based on user preference.

Please note that if you are using an Organization account with a Single Sign-On (SSO) enabled, you cannot enable or disable the 2-factor authentication feature directly in your UTunnel account. In that case, you need to manage your 2FA settings with your SSO or Identity Provider instead.

This guide will explain how to enable a 2-factor authentication on your UTunnel account using email based OTP.

1. Log in to your Personal or Organization account with UTunnel and navigate to the Account tab.

2. From the Profile page, click on the 2F Authentication option from the menu on the left.

Now, you will need an OTP received on your email every time you login to your UTunnel dashboard or UTunnel VPN client applications.
