How to Update Services on a Cloud VPN Server

It is important to update the UTunnel Service image on your Access Gateway to the latest version, as this often brings added security, better stability, and new features. Please follow the steps below to update the Access Gateway image to the latest version.

⚠️ Warning: Running the update will restart UTunnel services and temporarily disconnect all active VPN connections.

Update UTunnel’s Access Gateway Image

1. Sign in to your UTunnel account with your credentials. From the navigation bar, look for the Access Gateway option and click on it.

2. Next, select your Access Gateway and wait for its associated options to load. On the left quick access menu, find Update Image and click on it.

3. If there is a new image available, you can find a message stating that an update is available. In the input field provided below, type ‘UPDATE’ and click on PROCEED to get started with the image updation.

4. Please wait while the image update is underway. You can monitor its progress. A confirmation message will appear once the update is complete - Update Completed!
