How to Setup DNS Forwarder in UTunnel Access Gateway

The Access Gateway DNS can also function as a DNS forwarder. It can forward DNS queries for specific domains to external DNS servers, allowing you to route certain lookups outside the gateway while still managing others internally.

Here’s how to set it up:

1. Sign in to your UTunnel organization account and go to the dashboard. Click on Access Gateway from the top menu.

2. Select the Access Gateway you want to configure, then choose DNS from the left-side menu.

3. In the DNS section, you’ll see a few more options. Click on DNS Forwarder to continue.

4. After the DNS Forwarding page is loaded, navigate to the Create DNS Forward Rule and click on it. Enter the Domain and DNS Server values and click on Submit .

5. Your DNS forwarder rule is now active and will forward domain-specific queries to the specified DNS server while the rest continue to resolve through your Access Gateway.
